Premium College Football Picks Week 12

    Updated: November 18th, 2010

    Michigan State -20 over Purdue

Senior day for the Spartans. Purdue has struggled against the run and the Spartans will look to get their offensive mojo back as the seniors go out with a lopsided victory

    Boston College -7 over Virginia

BC should be able to establish the run against the Cavs who have been awful in run defense. It’s a tough spot for the Cavs playing on the road on Senior Day.

    Pitt -3 over South Florida

Pitt was caught off guard verse improving Uconn team in their last game. It won’t happen again verse USF. The Panthers will show why they are the best in the Big East this week.

    Illinois -7 1/2 over Northwestern

Illinois has a strong defensive line and fast linebackers which should be able to limit the Wildcats without Persa. LeShoure will be tough to tackle for the Wildcats who are coming off a “tear down the goalposts” type effort against Iowa last week.

    Arkansas -3 over Miss State

This is a game we have been waiting for as Arkansas matches up on both sides of the ball against the bulldogs. The bulldogs can stop the run pretty well but struggle against a good passing team. Arkansas can handle the one dimensional offense of Miss. State and can make it a long day for Relf and company. Arkansas easy.

    Maryland +4 over Florida State

Maryland keeps improving and Florida State appears to be going in the opposite direction. Maryland is playing for first place in the ACC Atlantic division and that would be a major accomplishment considering they not much was expected from them. The crowd will be crazy and I like them for an outright win. Take the 4 points.

Notre Dame -8 1/2 over Army

Army struggles with the pass and the Fighting Irish have seen the option once already this year. The Irish look to impress at Yankee stadium. Lay the points.

    Oklahoma – 7 1/2 over Baylor

Oklahoma has not been a great road team but they match up well speed wise on the perimeter which is where Baylor’s offense works. The Bear defense has struggled mightily of late and don’t see them stopping Oklahoma.

    Virginia Tech -2 over Miami

V Tech’s pass coverage should give freshman quarterback fits. Miami has shown vulnerability up the middle. Hokies are a tremendous November team. Look for the trend to continue.
