Indiana’s Special Teams now ranked Last in Big Ten

    Updated: October 23rd, 2010
  • As if the Hoosiers did have enough problems on defense, special teams have become a major flaw for Indiana. This week against Illinois, the Hoosiers had two punts and were vulnerable in kickoff coverage for the second straight week. Last week against Arkansas State the Hoosiers gave up over 223 yards in kickoff returns. Nothing changes momentum and field position more than punt blocks and poor return coverage. Withe Indiana heading in the wrong direction, I now rank them last slightly behind the Wolverines who cannot kick a field goal.
