Changes to unit SEC unit rankings week 5

    Updated: October 4th, 2010
  • There were three changes made this week to the SEC unit rankings. Auburn quarterback Cam Newton moved up to number three behing McElroy and Mallet. McElroy has a tentative spot at the top because he has been given more of a leash but has not been outstanding. Georgia’s offensive line has been downgraded due to lack of pass protection and lack of holes for running backs to go through. Alabama moved up for their linebacker play as they have done a great job stopping the run.
