Ohio State vs Michigan
When Ohio State has the ball:
Michigan has not yet showed the ability to stop either the run or the pass against any Big Ten team. Now they face the most explosive offense they have faced all year. The Buckeye offensive line should dominate the line of scrimmage allowing RB Herron room to run. Once getting into the second level, Herron should extend runs since the Michigan defense just doesn’t have the speed necessary to gang tackle. The bad news for the Wolverines is that their run defense is better than their pass defense. QB Pryor should have a field day against the one of the worst pass defenses in the country. Expect big plays all day. I see the Buckeyes putting up at least 40 points in this one.
Huge Edge Buckeyes
When the Wolverines have the ball:
The Michigan offense has been impressive all year but has struggled at key times against the better defenses. This week they face not only the stoutest defensive line they they have played but also the fastest secondary. On the road, with the running lanes being squeezed, even Deonard Robinson will find things more difficult. In this rivalry game, the Buckeye defense will be ready for the challenge.
