    Game Preview
    Iowa at Northwestern

After a near loss at Indiana, the Hawkeyes travel again this week to play the Northwestern Wildcats who return home after losing a 21 point lead to Penn State. Will Iowa look past Northwestern towards Ohio State? Is Northwestern wearing down?

    When Iowa has the ball:
Adam Robinson who missed last week should be back to run the football. Northwestern really struggled against the run in the second half of last week’s game so expect Iowa to pound the ball to rest its defense for next week. Northwestern many times can appear overwhelmed physically by the better Big Ten teams. I expect that to happen this week. Iowa does not want another close call since a loss means no chance at a Big Ten Title.
    Edge Iowa

    When Northwestern has the ball:
Dan Persa can be a magician on the field and he will have to be Houdini this week since his offensive line who has struggled to protect is going against the best defensive line they will face all year. Northwestern will struggle to put up points.
    Edge Iowa

    Special Teams
    No edge
