Florida smells the SEC east title with 55-14 rout of Vanderbilt

    Updated: November 9th, 2010
  • Hard to believe that a three loss team is going to win the SEC east but Florida now holds the title in their own hands after their big win over a bad Vandy team. South Carolina’s loss has left both the Gators and the Gamecocks with identical 4 and 3 records and the title will be decided this upcoming weekend when Florida hosts South Carolina. The Vanderbilt team should move to a conference where they can be more competitive instead of getting their heads handed to them every week. These games are too one sided as Vanderbilt only gained a hundred yards and had only 7 first downs. Florida dominated throughout in what amounted to a public workout for their showdown with South Carolina on Saturday.
