Florida beats Georgia 34-31 in an overtime thriller

Florida and Georgia played a classis game yesterday with Florida prevailing 34-31 in overtime on a field goal by the usual punter Henry. Nice to see this kid be the hero after missing one two weeks ago to tie the game against Miss. State. He split the uprights keeping Florida in contention in the SEC east and leaving Georgia out in the cold. Although I picked Florida as an outright winner I was impressed with Georgia’s Murray who is really maturing as a QB and will be dominating this league in years to come. Unfortunately he will be without AJ Green next year who will be in the NFL. Both played great but as it goes it is always turnovers that win games and Florida was very opportunistic getting four from Georgia. Nothing really surprised me in this game except for Georgia’s offense which is definitely improving. I just had to see it for myself against a quality defense like Florida’s and I am now a believer.
