  • Auburn beats Florida 17-6

After watching this game we discovered that Auburns best offensive play was to punt the ball to Florida. Two muffed punts led directly to 10 Auburn points. Chris Rainey muffed a punt on a controversial play where did not have enough room to catch the punt. Coach Will Muschamp blew a gasket when the fair catch interference was not called by any of the refs late in the first quarter. Auburn scored a touchdown a few plays later which added to Muschamp’s aggravation. A muffed punt later in the game by Clark, in place of Rainey, who was on punt block detail led to the game sealing field goal with 35 seconds remaining. In between Auburn played great defense and Florida never had the lead in the game. They are really struggling without Braintley behind center. Florida is a take against until he returns.
